University Oaks is a very bad place to live. It is not safe. People are always in and out, not just residents. There are parties all the time with gross older adults partying along with everyone. It's hard to go anywhere without someone making a sexual comment. Me and all of my friends feel unsafe. It's loud and dirty on the grounds more than not. No one listens to complaints in the office and acts like there is nothing ever wrong. The manager is flat out mean. She treats everyone I know like crap. The apartment has roaches everywhere even though the office said it was treated. My friend is having the same issues as me, especially with the manager. And her apartment is full of bugs too. She also had someone from maintenance walk in on her without knocking while she was WITH her boyfriend. I heard it is a common practice for UO to not knock and burst in. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I hope other people speak out so others won't be trapped in a year lease like all of us.

Party place, especially in the back lot. Trash everywhere all the time. Security gate code is a joke. Everyone/anyone seems to have codes, and even if you don't, you can follow people in. Do not live here unless you fit the typical un-mature party kid image. Noisy and nasty. Not safe.
