my sister and I went to breakfast this morning (Saturday 10/26/13) at The Egg and I .. they were swamped and it was a 15 minute wait for a table (at just before 1030AM).... The restaurant was neat clean and well decorated.... I ordered steak (med rare) and eggs (over medium) with potatoes, biscuit and bacon, She ordered a ham and cheese omelette with sourdough toast and potatoes it took 45 minutes for our food to come to the table her toast and potatoes were ice cold while the omelette was VERY hot my steak was about the size of a soup can lid and probably 1 inches tall... it was cooked med well to well done, the eggs were solid and the bacon was cold. The family that was sat just a minute or two before we were also had slow service and not right food.... breakfast came to $29 and change not worth the time or the money. We won't be going back.....

Bad bad bad. Service was just ok. Food was no good at all! The best part about it was the wing place next door.
