Founded in 1891 as the Harper Illustrating Syndicate, Harper Engraving is one of the largest professional and commercial stationary printing companies in the United States. In addition to offering a wide variety of stationary papers and styles, the company s production capabilities include graphic design, copper plate engraving, offset printing, thermography, foil stamping, embossing and die cutting and high-speed envelope production. Harper has more than 500 type fonts available and utilizes an array of computer applications from Adobe, Quark, Claire Works, Timbuktu and Freehand. The company s production printers include Design XP and Imager Plus units from NewGen, as well as commercial color printers from Tektronix, Panther and Mitsubishi. Harper Engraving maintains its headquarters in Columbus, Ohio, and operates production facilities and sales offices in Ohio, Colorado, North Carolina, Georgia and Washington, D.C.
