Money hungry and frustrating.

My family and I have been living in a Hometeam leased property for 2 years. They are very sweet if you want to rent from them, and extremely helpful. Once you signed a lease, the quality of their services declines. I found that the longer I stayed in the property, the less responsive they became about my repair requests. The final request, fixing a broken basement window shield, never got fulfilled untill I left the property. When I submitted my notice, they would show the property at very inconvenient times, despite me asking them not to show between 4-6 pm weekdays because we are a family, I like to be present during the showing since all my personal stuff is spread around, and that is the time I feed my children dinner. Furthermore, they did not respond to my email communications. So in summary, they were very nice to us when we wanted to rent the place, but then became progressively bad after we rented the place, and very bad when we decided to leave.

Do not choose this company to rent with.



They are terrible with information and will put your house on the market even if you have already told them you are renewing. They are very unprofessional and will tell you a day in advance that your lease needs to be signed, otherwise they will rent it to some other gullible college students who will willingly be pushed around by them.



Maintenence requests are sometimes luck of the draw. Either your problem will be addressed immediately or they will take days/weeks/months to fix something. When one of thier maintenence guys came to fix something at our place, we found a beer bottle cap left behind, along with dirty footprints on the carpet.



Save your frustration. Do not do business with Hometeam.
