We would not recommend buying a home through the sale office in the Pirate Cove Howser home center office. It was real good when we first bought our home from Bob Howser. He treated us fine and was always was kind to, but when we went to sell our home it was a completely different story.

We started out find they were able get a buyer and for our asking price. They even got our portion of the sale (after pay off, the parks $3000.00 transfer fee and the $5,900.00 for there selling fee) so we would not have to wait two weeks to do the closing on our new home since our mortgage people said it would have to show being received in our bank before we could close.

Howser sales person told us it would be 10 working days before we would get our share which would force us to get a motel for two weeks. We still had to get a motel for 5 days since they closed on our home on a Friday and our closing date for our new home was on the next Tuesday and I had to sleep in my truck with our dogs since none of the motels would not let us have any more than 2 dogs per room and we had 4.

I sent the new owner an e-mail requesting a grace period to stay in our home till the next Tuesday because of the hardship it would put us through.

She sent me a reply " quote" (her words that I have a copy of) of course she would and that she had told the sales lady herself that she would want to do this before we even brought it up.

When I called the sales lady about this agreement she went into a rage and said we want allow this. I asked her several times who is the we she was talking about, was the we her or was that Bob Howser homes. She never gave me and answer. She then said in a very treating and insulting tone did we want to sell our home or not.

You may want to consider my story before you deal with Howser homes sales at the Pirate Cove sales office.

I have never been treated so rude and totally unprofessionally in all of my sales transactions in my whole life.

What really makes me so mad Is that I payed them nearly $6,000.00 to be treated that way

Don t take my word for it just check with some of the people who live there.

After this happened to us we had a lot of people in the park to tell us that the lady in the sales office had similarly treated them that way. Also a lot of people there and even vendor and service people had complained about her and all they heard from the owner was ah that just the way people from the north are. How insulting is that.

I am so sorry to have give this very bad review because we thought a lot about Bob Howser, but the sales lady in the Pirate Cove sales office is the worst sales person I have ever dealt with!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
