She is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Shewmake has over 10 years of experience and specializes in the management of chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes and hyperlipidemia. Her special interests include preventative health care and decreasing health care disparities. In her spare time, Dr. Shewmake enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and enjoying the outdoors.
