Provided by YP.comNO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!! I purchased $400 worth of groceries there yesterday, specifically for the reason of using my 'Vitality' shopping card, issued by my employer. It takes 10% off all healthy food items and gives me points toward reducing my health insurance premiums.
When we presented the card, just before we unloaded our items, the cashier said she didn't know anything about it. She consulted one other person who happened to walk past her station, and never tried contacting the manager. She had a very bad attitude and clearly resented the additional work. We ended up leaving without having used the card, thinking that we could just contact a manager and they would review our receipt and credit our account.
Today, I called the manager to tell her what happened. She said the employees haven't been trained to use the card. She never took the name of the clerk, and offered a $20 Walmart Gift Card for my trouble. Too little, too late.
This was the first and last time I shop for groceries here. I have been shopping at Clarkesville Ingles for years, and have had no issues. The only reason I bought groceries at WalMart was because of the Vitality card.
I understand now why so many close-knit communities fight to prevent WalMart building in their town. Low prices? Not really the huge savings they'd like you to believe (I compared my receipt to Ingles, same items). They bring all the worst of large corporate America into places like Habersham County, where we are used to getting service with a smile and managers who stand behind their products and services.

Provided by YPmobileThis is not the closest Walmart Super Center to where I live, but it is worth making the trip. The main difference (other than the layout ) are the prices are lower than the store in Cleveland. Another plus is they will keep multiple checkout lanes open, even calling backup cashiers to open more lanes to service the customers! I'm impressed and will shop there more often.

Provided by YP.comSupercenter! It is very organized, you can find your way around it. It's much bigger than the old store and has more items than what the old store had to offer. The store has a lot of services, no self checkouts, Subway, etc. The first thing I noticed about this store is that it doesn't have a gas station and Customer Service, Walmart careers, and Site to Store are located at the entrance to General Merchandise, easy to find. The store is clearly labeled and uses colors to identify each department. The biggest change with this store plan is the fact that the Pharmacy is located near the grocery, electronics, and jewelry departments, which is close to the checkout lines. This store was designed well and there is a display where you can pick up a map of the store.
The store is located down the street from the old store, which closed June 29, 2011 when the new Supercenter opened.
