Went into the store, had my son fitted for a tux for his prom on Tuesday. Was told it would be ready by Friday as I paid in full. I picked it up for him and brought it home. My son tried it on and the shirt, jacket and vest were too small! He called the store and was told that there isn’t much mobility in a tuxedo! He couldn’t even reach up to adjust his collar! My son took the entire set back to the store and was told they could fix it and have it to him by 6:50pm tomorrow, yes, the night of his prom which starts at 7:30pm in Newport Beach. That wouldn’t work obviously so he asked for a full refund. He was told there is a $20 charge because of the alterations! Are you kidding me?!? Alterations that were WRONG! Time to call my credit card company to dispute the entire amount! SERVICE SUCKS HERE! They can’t measure and alter properly and expect you to pay for THEIR mistakes. Avoid like the plague!

I went to Friar Tux for the Groomsmen in my wedding because I heard that they were very affordable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My son, who is our ring-bearer, didn't need to rent a tux because we actually bought it from another place, however we needed to rent a tie for him, and they had no problem renting the tie to us for only $5! A few weeks before my wedding they contacted me to tell me that all my groomsmen had been fitted, what great service! I wouldn't think twice about utilizing them again for another formal occasion!
