I had heard about dollar stores for a long time. My daughter said, Mom they are great for birthday party supplies. Finally, I stopped into the one in Covington. Now I regularly stop in. I use it for mostly cleaning supplies, some food and bath supplies. I found poster boards for...$1. I found lingerie mesh laundry bags for ...$1. I got a couple Christmas DVDS for ...$1 All Winners. Losers? I bought two solar lights, one worked for a long time until my landscaper wiped it out, the other worked for a few weeks. The one that worked for a long time only shone for about an hour before going dark each day though, maybe any solar would not work well here near Seattle? Also I got some faux circus animal cookies, ate one and the rest were thrown out. Bottom line, not everything will be great but enough is to give it a try. Staff fairly friendly. P.S. I do not like it that if I want cash back at check out I have to pay though.
