Craig Middle School serves students in grades seven and eight. It is located on an 18-acre campus that includes an industrial arts classroom, shop, and physical education, football and baseball fields. The school, located in Craig, Colo., is equipped with advanced computer and audio and visual equipment and materials to complement the basic educational program. It operates an instructional materials center, which includes a computerized information search and check out system and has a collection of materials for students and faculty members. The school s curriculum includes language arts, reading, mathematics, social studies, physical education and science. It also offers various elective courses, such as art, law, ecology, industrial arts, crafts, home economics, chorus, band, speech and drama, teen topics and computer education. Craig Middle School offers an interscholastic sports program for boys and girls. Its sports activities include football, volleyball, basketball, wrestling, cross country and track.
