BUYER BEWARE! CHECK THE BBB WEBSITE FOR COMPLAINTS AGAINST THIS GUY! IT'S ILLEGAL IN PENNSYLVANIA TO ADVERTISE A FULL CORD OF WOOD FOR SALE AND THEN DELIVER LESS THAN THAT.

I just purchased a cord of wood yesterday from this person for $185.00 a cord When I stacked the wood today instead of measuring 4X4X8 or 128 cubics which is a full cord my pile measures 3x4x6 way short. When I contacted him he basically said too bad. Wish I had read these other reviews before I made the purchase. DO NOT BUY FIREWOOD FROM THIS MAN!!

Great old fashioned business man. Bought a cord off him. Also have bought Christmas tree's off him over the years

Looking to rip off customers; talks a good game but don't trust him. I did and I'm sorry. Oddly didn't rip me off the first time we did business. But sure got me the second.

I do not recommend Brian Evans Excavating & Landscaping Tel. 570-839-9825 because of the following experience with this company.

I purchased 2 cords of firewood from Brian Evans, but he delivered only 1 and ¼ cords. Some of the firewood was pine (oppose to the claim that it is all oak) and there were quite a few Y-shaped branches that were 4 feet long.

I called Brian and requested that he deliver the missing ¾ cord of firewood. His answer was that he could sell another cord for $100. I did not want to spend more money, since I already paid $350 for 2 cords, so we agreed that I would pick up the missing firewood myself. A few days later when I was ready to pick up the firewood, Brian ignored my phone calls and did not reply to my voicemail messages. I ended up with 1 cord of hardwood for the price of 2. Luckily, I can tell pine from hardwood, otherwise it could cause damage to my wood stove.

FIREWOOD SCAM. Avoid Brian Evans 570 839 9825. BUYERS BEWARE.
