Service was terrible. Food is OK. You pay for the view....one in which we did not receive. After asking for a table by the window when I made the reservation, we were seated at a table away from the window. I requested to move up to a seat by the window that was empty and was told 3 other parties had requested a window seat. The table sat empty for 15 minutes. A couple was seated next to us(away from the window) and when they voiced wanting to move up to the view, they were escorted right away to the better table. Furthermore, a couple next to us had an infant that didn't make a peep the entire time. Yet, the hostess was standing on the tier above their seat, making the statement, "now we don't want him to make any noise". Very unprofessional. I know anyone with children would never make that comment. We did stay at the Ritz for an entire week, and the rest of the staff was superb.
