For the past four decades, the Georgia Community Action Association has existed to help people, change lives, and build families and communities. We are proud of the work accomplished by our network of 20 Community Agencies and their partners. Looking back over the past 12 -18 months it is clear that Community Action Agencies (CAAs) experienced some of the most trying times in accomplishing our mission. The status of the economy and aftermath of the recession brought thousands of new clients to our doorsteps seeking emergency food, shelter, transportation, jobs and solutions to homelessness.
