Had chicken Dum Biryani its just tasted oustanding my wife made a good choice visiting the new indian restaurant opened recently . Will definetly coming back .

I'm Indian. I tried samosas at this restaurant and it was mouth watering. I never ever had that delicious samosas in my life ever. And it wasn't only samosas, even the dahi puri was so amazing that my American friends are now addicted to it and visit that restaurant every time they go to Kroger just to get dahi puri. Even they loved naan with butter chicken.

Been here twice already. Great taste and great customer service. Chicken 65 and biryani is just awesome. Now I am very much addicted to indian food. Will definitely visit again.

thank u so much spice root for opening up.. I have been waiting for this restaurant to open n finally here it is.. Had the goat saagwala and chilli naan.. It was soo tasty.. I loved it.. And atmosphere was soo pleasing.. For sure gonna come back and mark it as my fav spot����������������

I have had the best Indian food in here. They have ample of choices with wide variety of appetizer and curries in both vegetarian and chicken/goat.

I had the chicken 65 and the aloo samosa and the goat biryani. Everything was perfect and the best part is they adjust the spice level and they really do.

Was worth the check. Will be definitely coming back.

Had Best biryani in town they come with tasty michi ka Salam , awesome environment all over was GOOD

I hate to be the barrier of bad news, but I must inform my fellow consumers about my poor experience at the spice root. I normally go to heart of India but decided to give a new restaurant a try. Big mistake! The food isn't fresh and is prepared ahead of time. My naan bread was extremely burnt, the samosas were rock hard and cold as if they had been refrigerated. The dahi puri had no chickpeas or sweet potatoes as advertised and the biryani was subpar. When I complained to the waitress she claimed that the nan should be that way. I have had lots of nan bread and it has never been burnt to the point where the bottom is charcoal black. It had my car smelling like burnt dough. She didn't address the dahi puri. And only gave me a fresh samosa and a slice of cake. I am very dissatisfied. I drove all the way from Lithonia to patronize this restaurant and was greatly disappointed. I will continue to go to heart of India where I get a good value and delicious food
