This is a simple place but beautiful and quite. The most noise you have is the cows. That's only when they see you. Vicki and Jack are wonderful people. Will help you out if they could. Thank you for the wonderful stay

We stayed for 2 months and really enjoyed the beautiful mountains and the Sunsets. The rv park is down a dirt road with very little traffic, so it's perfect for people who like to go for walks or bike rides. The owners were very helpful and even fixed a water leak we were dealing with. Plenty of space, nice washers and dryers, pet friendly, peaceful, great selection of books and DVDs. I just wish we could have stayed longer!

We stayed a week. off the beaten path serene and peaceful. Night skies spectacular. Friendly accommodating host. Would certainly stay here again.

Folks, If you are looking for a winter getaway, I really recommend this quiet, friendly spot just a short drive from Deming, New Mexico. I had fun exploring several interesting places nearby (like Silver City, and City of Rocks State Park). But I also enjoyed just hanging out at the “Temperate Zone”. You can’t beat the good-natured hospitality of Vicki and James, park owners, who made me feel right at home. Most of all I loved the peace and beauty of this oasis in the desert.

My husband and I have had the pleasure residing at Temperate Zone RV Park for the past two years. Our experience at the TZ has been just what is described on their website. We have traveled extensively around the United States in the course of my husband's career and the Temperate Zone is at the very top of the list of best parks in the nation. A concern as a long term resident is that the park be clean and "short termers" friendly but not unruly - the TZ has come through on both. We truly enjoy the opportunity to live in the high desert, yet be close to town. The peaceful environment, beautiful setting, and nice people here at the TZ make it your best bet for both short and long term stays. Vicki and James are excellent hosts and the park is well-managed. -- Annie K.
