I deal with criminal defense attorneys throughout the United States. Matt is always insightful on legal topics he has mastered with his 20 plus years of experience. I have worked with Matt for over 5 years and would highly recommend him due to his criminal defense knowledge and easy accessibility.

We hired Matt to defend my case. He failed on all levels. My exwife fabricated a ridiculous case of child abuse and domestic violence against me. Matt initially called the case "fiction like" when he was trying to win our acceptance of his services. After paying the 15 grand in fees, he changed his attitude very quickly. At no point did he actually go over any of the criminal complaint with me. He kept me in the dark as far as what was actually written in the case. At NO point did I get a chance to explain to him my side of the situation.



Why would an attorney not show me the case filed against ME??



Because Matt sided with the prosecution and failed to do ANY investigation on my case. Instead Matt "lawyered" me, the paying client, to believe he could not win the case. He convinced me to take a plea deal. Matt simply was too lazy to do the work needed to prove my innocence. When I asked him for the "investigation notes" he has stopped communication with me.



I've since gone through the paperwork with a different attorney, whom has made it clear this case is a poorly manufactured book of lies. He felt strongly Matt could have done SO much more than a plea deal for the amount of money I spent.



We are now appealing the case based on Matts unethical handling of my case. I have also turned him into Colorado State Supreme Court Attorney regulation counsel. They accepted my case, this man should not be allowed to practice law.
