DeRidder High School, governed by the Beauregard Parish School Board, serves students in grades 9 through 12. The school s curriculum includes fine arts, English, science, math, art, U.S. history, world geography, language arts, and business and physical education. It also offers instruction in agricultural technology and family and consumer science. The school provides membership opportunities to students in the Future Farmers of America. DeRidder High School maintains a library that provides a collection of audiovisual equipment, software, and printed and nonprinted educational and reference materials. In addition, the school organizes a variety of extracurricular activities, including Beta, drama, key and yearbook clubs.
