Garner Printing Company was one of the first printers in Des Moines, Iowa, to offer direct-to-plate technology, eliminating stripping time and errors. Utilizing Scitex digital workstations and image setters, the company s prepress department processes images and page layout files. The company produces color images on high-resolution flatbed scanners. Pages are assembled on Macintosh and Pentium workstations. The files are output on a variety of proofing systems that include four- and eight-page image setters.
