The Dothan Department of Leisure Services offers diversified programs in Dothan, Ala., that encourage community involvement through a wide variety of leisure activities. The department organizes special events and offers facilities and services that provide health, fitness, relaxation and enjoyment. It maintains recreation sites throughout the city, such as Doug Tew Center, Walton Park, Wiregrass Park, Water World, Westgate Recreation Center, Westgate Softball Complex, Andrew Belle Youth Activity Center, Rose Hill Senior Adult Center, Westgate Tennis Center and Eastgate Park. In addition to the numerous recreation and athletic activities, Dothan is proud of its senior adult program, therapeutic program and instructional programs.
