Established in 1902, Carnegie-Stout Public Library serves the Dubuque and surrounding communities. It holds a collection of over 270,000 volumes, 600 periodical and newspaper subscriptions, and a variety of audio and video materials. Located in Dubuque, Iowa, the library offers electronic services, including electronic informational databases as well as downloadable audio/video. The library has 20 internet access computers as well as 15 laptop computers that are used with the library s wireless network. Carnegie-Stout Public Library has teen zone, kids zone, e-branch and collections of special note. It also provides Adult Services Programs and Events that includes book discussions, movies, computer classes, author appearances and various library events.
