The Divers Alert Network is a nonprofit organization that provides medical emergency and research services to scuba divers around the world. The organization is affiliated with the Duke University Medical Center and has more than 200,000 members worldwide. The Divers Alert Network was established in 1980, and is located in Durham, N.C.
