I took my 2005 car (which has under 100K miles and had been previously problem free) in for a standard oil change and fluid check. The next day the car was leaking oil, and two days later I was told the engine was blown and had to be replaced. They claimed the problem was dry-rotted engine parts. I don't know much about cars, but I do know that it's not a coincidence that my engine was ruined two days after their so-called mechanics touched it.



Both the shop and Precision Tune's corporate office refused to do the right thing to rectify their horrible work or take any responsibility.



Do yourself a favor and learn from my extremely expensive mistake. Stay far away from this place and take your car to a shop with qualified mechanics with integrity.

I thought I had an ok experience until a week later. They broke the tab that opens my hood and threw it away without telling me. This is dangerous! I found out when I needed to get my hood open on the shoulder of I-95.



For good measure, when I got it open, I found a rotten sandwich on my battery. When I went back to talk to them, they assured me the sandwich must have gotten under the unopenable hood some other way because they do not eat under the hood. They'd rather insult my intelligence than apologize. They said because the tab broke due to normal wear and tear they did not need to tell me about it. They offered to screw the two pieces of the hood toggle together if I bought it for them. I can understand that mechanics can make mistakes, but this is the kind of customer service you can expect from them.
