I called this doctor's office to inquire if I can make am appointment to have my shoulder examined. I was in severe pain and couldn't move my left arm. A woman answered the phone and asked if I was a patient of Dr. Charen. I told her I wasn't. She then stated to me "ABSOLUTELY NOT." She also stated that the Dr. was booked till the end of the month. I called on 9/11/09. Was the response "ABSOLUTELY NOT" warranted. She could have simply stated in a nice way that the Dr. had no appointments available. If your thinking about calling Dr. Charen's office for an appointment, don't bother if you are a new patient. No professionalism whatsoever.
