Everyone enjoys a store with a little local history and flavor and Hunky's has that in spades seeing as it has been a Eugene institution for decades. It is your standard Bob Marley worshiping, incense burning, tie dye wearing head shop but Hunky's aims to appeal to more than just the local hippies. The store's eclectic range of merchandise from locally made glass pipes, novelty tobacco items, hookah shop to sexy lingerie, gag gifts, and walk in humidor for cigars may appeal to the browser who is not looking for any one item it particular. While the store's selection of items is vast price quality is compromised as the store generally marks everything up about 50% over MSRP. I should mention this is a growing trend in local head shops which has lead me to start buying online. Also don't expect to be helped out by any men in the store other than the owner and the manager; Hunky's is also famous over the last 5 years or so for not employing a single male shop worker and apparently prides themselves in a staff of 4-5 attractive local hipster chicks that COMPLETELY changes every 6-8 weeks so no one particular sales girl actually knows much about the product. Go browse around, you may find that perfect little something but better deals are abound elsewhere.
