I have always hated going to the dentist since I was a child, and have a hard time finding anything good to say about dentists at all. I have very sensitive teeth and gums, and most dentists and hygenists just aren't careful enough. Dr. Whicker's Wellness Centered Dentristy is the first dental office that I've found pleasant to go to. Everyone is very friendly, thoughtful, and gentle. They take care to make the experience pain free, and have a high level of expertise that makes you relax enough to realize they're going to do a good job without hurting you -- and if you value your teeth, that's very important. If you're already nervous at the mere thought of being at the dentist's office, it's a great place to go. I had to get significant work done (replacing mercury amalgams, crowns, filling, etc.) and it was a relatively painless process. He follows all the recommended procedures to remove mercury amalgams safely -- if you're looking for a new dentist, or are not satisfied with the one you have, I would definitely recommend him. And if you procrastinate going to the dentist because you really hate the entire dental experience, you should definitely make an appointment.
