Dr. Hu is a board-certified interventional anesthesiologist with additional subspecialty board certification in the field of pain management. Dr. Hu obtained her accelerated B.S./M.D. degree from the Northeast Ohio Medical University and completed her anesthesiology training and pain management fellowship at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. She currently serves as the Medical Director at the Pain Management Institute of Limerick and is one of the few female interventional pain specialists in the region. Dr. Hu specializes in treating chronic pain that develops over time from degeneration of the spine, as well as acute pain that occurs as a result of work injury or accident. In addition to medication management, Dr. Hu specializes in using minimally invasive techniques to reduce pain and restore function.
