My husband and I live in a WOHP building in Jersey City. When we applied for the apartment, we were told no parking spots were available but that they would be administered via a random lottery whenever they became available. Eventually we realized that wasn't the case. Parking spots were surreptitiously changing hands without any fair or transparent process. We've been given the runaround by multiple WOHP employees reporting various conflicting information. Told we were top of the list; then told that they would actually be giving the spot to new tenants instead. It has eroded trust in any information they give us. I wished I'd looked at Yelp earlier, as another review reports this same behavior. There have also been numerous smaller issues from trash not being put out for collection for several weeks, to waiting around all day for a maintenance appointment who never showed, and allowing weeds to completely overtake the small yard surrounding the building.
