After many years of not only sobriety but RECOVERY I have New Directions to Thank! I will never forget my first session with one of the counselors. At one point in time I thought my life was hopeless. My counselor helped me see/ dissect my relationship with intoxicants and how it was affecting my life. I was ill, as though I had cancer, not a bad person! My counselor helped me see this and helped me regain control of my life in a way I never thought was possible. I can truly say they not only helped me find myself, but gave me the tools necessary to maintaining a life free from intoxicants. I learned more about myself in two months than the prior two decades. Restoring hope, trust, and regaining confidence was all due to following suggestions and being honest with myself and another man (counselor) at New Directions Program. There are no words that suffice my gratitude to this establishment and the work they do! Thank you for all you do and continue to do! -Michael
