purchased a new dual axle trailer with surge brakes but it appears as though quality control at load is not that good. My trailer was delivered to the supplier and sold to me with no inside brake pad. I managed to make it home befor the piston finally failed but the results could have been much worse. Seems as though there should be some type of checklist to make sure safety factors are in place prior to shipping products out of the warehouse.
