The food is good. I like the variety with the salad bar, appetizers, and main entree's.

Excellent food, but sometimes cold. I used to love the articoke hearts in Olive oil, but now their in water. Didn't like that change at all.

Standard buffet, cold crab legs, poor mongolian

The Ginger buffet is located close to the shopping Mall at Fairview Heights. The buffet itself can be categorised as a standard Chinese buffet with really nothing special. Although they also serve cold crab legs, the quality is usually very poor. They are small, often there is no meat inside and they are very small. You waste time for nothing really! The mongolian type of food is also below average taste, so do not expect something extraordinary here. But lets be honest, nowadays what can you expect for a buffet price of $9,99? To round it up here, this place is a location where you come after work to have something in your stomach. For only this reason I can recommend it. Price for the buffet is based on April 2012. Me and my girls went to Ginger one evening after work. THe service was horrible and so was the food. The crab legs had no meat in them and I found myself hunting for food that looked edible. It was a bad experience and I would never go back. Nor would I reccommend it to ANYONE.

Ginger's is by far the best chinese around. The price is very nice!!! They have a wide variety of things to choose from and alot of it. Everything is always hot and loaded. Service is very friendly also. They also have sushi and a habachi grill area where you can load your plate with what you want and they will cook it for you right there. So, if your in the mood for chinese at a reasonable price this is the place to go.
