A passion for good food has always been a love of ours. For over 12 years we lived on the beautiful Outer Banks of North Carolina and grew to love the wonderful foods there. However when we returned back here we found that although the food was great we could not get the wonderful taste from the south that we grew to love. We began thinking about what it would be to bring some of the south to our friends and family here. Upon doing so, we have found a great response to our Southern cooking and have enjoyed sharing it with others. Starting a restaurant was not our desire yet we wanted a way to share our love for great food with all those around us. Catering was the option. We love seeing the smiles on your face and yet still having family time appeared as the best of both worlds. Southern cooking is warm and inviting and brings everyone around the kitchen table. Bringing friends and families together brings happiness to our family. Thus J. Brian's Smokehouse was created. Family Owned, Family Loved.
