Kinard Core Knowledge Junior High School serves more than 750 students in grades six through nine. The school conducts classes in English, history, science and math. It offers a variety of extracurricular activities, such as art, drama, music, and technical and physical education. It operates book, chess, robotics and atlas clubs. Kinard Core Knowledge Junior High School also has a choir, band, orchestra and student council. The school provides special education classes for gifted and talented students. It supports a variety of sports activities, such as football, basketball, wrestling, softball and tennis. In addition, it features a library and media center that maintains a collection of books, databases and reference materials. The school provides food, guidance counseling and health care. Located in Fort Collins, Colo., Kinard Core Knowledge Junior High School is a part of the Poudre School District.
