Just got home from a weekend trip at Acorn Oaks for the 4th of July. We loved this campground! It was our first time there and went because some friends had tried it this season and said how nice it was. The owner really went out of her way to make us feel welcome and really works hard on activities. The bathrooms were clean camp bathrooms and the camp store is fabulous! It's like a little flea market with misc antiques and odds and ends with great prices! This is a quiet family campground, great for kids to ride bikes and enjoy the outdoors. So glad we tried it out and will definitely be returning!

We live very close to this camp ground, O MY nasty place so is the owner she blocked me in because I dint see the sign to check into the office. Then punch my truck and I apologized many times for not seeing the sign ....we were told by a law enforcement officer there was a trailer for sale there or I would not have stopped. as we pulled out of there, there is a county line near. A jasper county sheriff was turning around I stopped him and I explained what happen He said yes he knew of the nasty woman, there not police friendly either O MY why would you camp there when Indiana beach has many camp grounds........... and that place is nasty
