J. A. Hernandez Elementary School, founded in 1923 and located in Franklin, La., is affiliated to the St. Mary Parish School Board. The school offers a variety of academic and cocurricular programs to more than 300 students in grades prekindergarten through five. It offers various subjects, such as social studies, music, art, computers, science, mathematics and English. J. A.
