The Franklinton Fire Department is a volunteer fire department that employs more than 30 personnel and serves over 5,000 citizens. The department coordinates responses to fire and rescue incidents and works to protect and preserve the lives and property of citizens. The Franklinton Fire Department is a member of the Franklin County Firefighters Association, Franklin County Fire Chief's Association, North Carolina State Firemen's Association and the North Carolina Association of Fire Chiefs. The Franklinton Fire Department maintains a fleet of engines, units and brushes. It also organizes fire and rescue trainings programs. The fire department is located in Franklinton, N.C.
