McEver Elementary School is a distinguished Title I school located in Gainesville, Ga. Established in 1956, the school is a part of Hall County Schools. Its parent involvement programs organize workshops that help to improve homework, organization and the study skills in students. McEver Elementary School employs subject teachers, a psychologist, social worker, nurse, counselor, special education coordinator, instructional coach and reading specialist. The school provides English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and gifted and talented education programs. It offers classes in English, math, science, social studies and language arts to students in prekindergarten through grade five. McEver Elementary School s media center stocks a range of quiz books, puzzles, storybooks and picture dictionaries.
