JIM MAGUIRE’S PEN & INK work is very fine with each stroke of the PEN forming structural part or definition to the completed work. Sometimes using pointillism (a technique of applying individual INK dots) over areas to produce a form of shading. Each original PEN & INK takes from 25 to 40 hours depending on the subject. Most pieces are then reproduced AS prints for sale. JIM dose sell some originals if someone is interested. HE also will take commissions to DO a piece of ART work on a subject of your choosing. This black and white work and its artist has enjoyed invitations for ONE MAN showings and has WON prizes for various ART show competitions.
