Took my dog there for years. Always had to come for the same recurring issues. So I tried a different veterinarian turns out my dog was a diabetic. I never knew it. Neither did they! After years of the same problem!! My dog is doing fine now that I changed vets... Oh I asked Gibraltar vet to reimburse me for waisted vet fees and maybe help with the costs to get my dog healthy again... Nope! apparently they feel its my fault.

As long as we were paying their "intensive care" charges they were able to medicate him healthy. The moment we stopped boarding him, the take home medication no longer helped. They were compassionate when we had to make the decision for the "last act of love".

I had been going to Gibraltar Vet for several years (8+), however it was WAY to expensive (dmahas) was correct! You do pay about two to three times more for the EXACT same treatment as other vet. hospitals. The wait time all around (on the phone or for your appointment) is ridiculous! Be prepared to wait over an hour (min.) to be seen at your scheduled time. The final straw for us, was loosing our dog to cancer (she died at home) - when I called to notify the vet - the girl said "okay, I'll remove her off our mailing list". Are you kidding me??? No card, follow up, or compassion regarding our loss. I've switched vets with our new dog and couldn't be happier.

All the doctors and staff are wonderful! They always treat my dogs like they are their own. I have been going there for years, and all my friends and family take their pets there too. The hospital is clean and well kept. The boarding facility and groomers are excellent also. I would highly recommend Gibraltar Vet.

Great Vets here but VERY costly! I was spending sooo much money and found I was paying double or even triple of most vets. Very nice and clean too.
