Established in 1959, Gibsonton Elementary School provides educational classes to students in kindergarten through grade five. It conducts classes in various subjects, such as reading, math, English as a Second Language, science and social science and English. The school has a library and media center that offers a variety of print and electronic sources to assist students in the learning process. Gibsonton Elementary School has a parent-teacher association that provides planning and implementation of a variety of fundraising activities for the benefit of students and the school. The school has an athletics department that offers various sports activities, such as baseball, softball, football, track, tennis, soccer and volleyball. Gibsonton Elementary School is a part of Hillsborough County Public Schools and is located in Gibsonton, Fla.

Gibsonton School has been an integral part of my family for generations. All four of my children attended this wonderful institution, and even my husband was a student here. Despite being an older school building, it is well-maintained and provides a safe and nurturing environment. The support and dedication of the staff at Gibsonton went above and beyond, acting like co-parents and partners in raising my children. Their unwavering commitment to each student's success inspired me to join the teaching staff. It is a privilege to now be part of a team that continues to shape young lives with such care and excellence.

This is a great school all 3 of my children have gone here. My oldest son struggled before he got here and the teachers he had helped him excel and not only get caught up to now he will be skipping a grade. I absolutely love this school. Not only do they help the children excel they also help the families out with any needs. Definitely would recommend this school.

This is a great school all 3 of my children have gone here and they love the teachers and staff everyone is so friendly and helpful. The programs the school offers is great as well for low income families and so forth.

THEE WORST SCHOOL EVER!

I would NOT recommend this school for anyone's child/children! staff does not care about the safety of the children, my child was not only threatened by another student, but also by the guidance counselor! UNBELIEVABLE!!! counselor calls me then tries to be a smart allec on the phone with me. he tried to make it seem like it was my child's fault he was threatened, the guidance counselor is called mr. powell HE'S A JOKE! just like the school that hired him. NEVER AGAIN! they don't even have a proper gym or auditorium, the children don't even eat the lunch. I was told one of the lunch workers bit a piece of chicken then put it back in with the rest of the chicken, how nasty is that! please do your research on this school and its ratings before you decide to put your kids/ children in this school.
