Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, Mr. Stanton graduated summa cum laude with highest honors from the University of Richmond’s prestigious Jepson School of Leadership Studies, where he ranked second in his class with a GPA of 3.85. He then pursued his J.D. at the University of Richmond T.C. Williams School of Law as a John Marshall Scholar—the law school’s most prestigious scholarship program, limited to 8% of the incoming class. During law school, Mr. Stanton earned several academic achievements, including membership in the McNeill Law Society, an honor reserved for law students ranked in the top 10% of their class.
