A appraiser Mark Kevin Baker who lists his employer as B&L Appraisal almost cost me my house I was buying because he took 2 weeks to complete the report after numerous promises that it would be done the next day by 10pm he did this 3 times. I missed my closing date due to his lack of professionalism. My lender has even requested that he never be used by their institution again. If you are buying a home do everything you can to find out who the appraiser will be and if it is this guy demand another because you will not make your closing date.
