OHMS provides outpatient chemical dependency treatment through Choices Counseling Center. Choices began in 1995 when the physicians who founded OHMS recognized the community's need for an additional alcohol and drug treatment program-at that time, there was only one program in the area. Choices offers a number of special and group programs to men, women, adolescents, and seniors or older adults. We also have programs for people with co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorders, and for DUI/DWI offenders. The Center accepts self-payment, Medicaid (OHP), private health insurance and offers payment assistance programs. Choices is also active in the community providing outreach to the homeless and those combating methamphetamine addiction. Referrals are not necessary to make an appointment.
