should get less than 1 star. worse than having no bank account period. they repeatadly refuse to honor valid and legitimate checks made out to me. the latest was a policy refund check from an old auro insurance policy for less than $80. i have full proof of identification and have banked with 1st comm since long before the change from good ol' SOFCU. I got a seven digit acct #!! and the check came with a company pgone # to call for verification. thier "policy" is to not accept checks over 6 months old. mine was forgotten in my stack of mail for 7 months and states on its face " negotiable for 1 year from date of issue" i am on fixed income and at this time of the month, $80 is a sizeable amount i was hopeful would feed me for a week. thanks for nothing 1st community. u'll be the 1st community i ditch for a bank with its customers interest in mind
