The first Grooming was good , the following grooming's were fair.

In the month of Dec. I dropped off my dog to be groomed.

I picked up my pet, left, and noticed that her legs and paws were not finished.

I returned to Brenda's to informed Susan about the unfinished touches. I requested a final touch up, she became so agitated AND UPSET.

She informed me that in order to clear up the legs and paws there would be an extra charge. I could not believe this. i returned home and mentioned to my husband of her outburst and how depressed I was of the whole situation because I was not rude to her at anytime.

My husband looked at our pet and agreed that it was an unfinished grooming and it was then that he discovered that she had a big piece of skin hanging from her left thigh . I am sure that she knew about this because a cut like this has to bleed. NO, I WILL NOT RECOMMEND.

I never write reviews but felt compelled this time. First time I had my Cocker Spaniel to Brenda's they cut him. They didn't know so they didn't tell me. Ended up infected, stitches, antibiotics, a real mess. I called and told them as soon as I found out. Already had another appointment booked and took him back today. Lady there (Brenda?) said her mother cut him and her mother would pay the vet bill if I left it. I said I should get a free grooming at the very least but she would not groom for free since she didn't cut him, her mother did (who was not there today). She also started getting nervous about grooming him since he was previously cut. Too unsure of herself I wouldn't leave him there, today or ever again. Cutting is an accident and unfortunately does happen. How it was handled today was not acceptable. If Brenda owns the shop, she should be responsible for the groomers she allows to work under her name.

Brenda's Pampered Pets is the only groomer I will take my Lakeland Terrier to. Brenda and her staff are always so nice and kind. (Dog) Treats included!! I travel from Rocklin to Grass Valley for my pet's grooming. Highly recommend.

Brenda's Pampered Pets is the best dog groomer in Nevada County, we recommend her to everyone we know, she does such a wonderful job on our Lakeland Terriers, Laddie Boy & Sassy Girl!
