Founded in 1953, Guilderland High School has more than 150 teachers who serve students in grades nine through 12. The school offers classes in various subjects, including arts, business, mathematics, and driver and health education. Its academic curriculum also includes mathematics, science, social studies, music and English. The school offers membership for several clubs, such as chess, drama, English, German, key, media, medical, ski and weight lifting clubs. It also has many organizations, including Students Against Destructive Decisions, the National Honor Society and the Future Business Leaders of America. Guilderland High School s library offers encyclopedia articles, reference books, magazines, journals and newspapers. The school is located in Guilderland Center, N.Y.
