Do not ever use EBI. They are atrocious. First they never answer their phones, you just get voice mail, which normal companies would be fine, except they never return phone calls. Once you get a technician actually scheduled don't hold your breath for them to actually show up. We have had about 4 appointments scheduled and only once have they shown up as intended. They don't call to tell you they aren't coming either, you just sit around for four hours wondering if they will show up. Our unit was supposedly fixed and I paid the service fee, low and behold the unit was not actually fixed. When I called back to get a technician sent out I was told I would need to pay again. After confirming with our home warranty company that this is not the case I went ahead and scheduled a technician, who guess what, didn't show up. I now have another company called to service my unit. Never use EBI. I have also reported them to the Better Business Bureau for their horrid customer service.
