The agents are very knowledgeable and courteous. They always have community events; brochures available for the public.

It's always a great experience and ease to transact business AAA, Staff are all friendly and accommodating. Office is so clean and decent. Very fast renewal of driver license, even issuance of temporary international driver's license is so much easier. My husband ran his car batteries low and called AAA, they were there right away. Awesome people and services. Kudos AAA!!!!

Waaay easier to visit this AAA than it was to go to Hamden's DMV which is a mess right now anyway. The staff was quick, efficient and so helpful. I took care of a license renewal/name and address change (due to marriage) all in under 20 minutes. Thank you!

I recently visited the Hamden, CT AAA office to renew my CT Drivers License (Verified). The service was AMAZING!. Absolutely NO wait. I just walked up to the counter, provided my info, had the picture taken and was on my way in less than 10 minutes. It doesn't get any better than that.

My wife and I have been thinking about taking a European river cruise for some time now. One day we finally took are ride to the AAA Hamden, CT office to see if they could provide us with some information. I have used the Hamden office several times to get my driver’s license renewed. It is while standing in line, for a very short amount of time because AAA operates more efficiently than the Motor Vehicle Department, that I saw a sign for travel services.

We went in and and met Ms. Lorie Pisani-Soltan one of the travel consultants. She gave us a warm greeting and had us take a seat. We told her about wanting to take a European river cruise. She quickly handed us a flyer about a AAA members cruise for July 2016. She went over this cruise with us along with several other cruises that would be available to us. All of the cruises could be booked through AAA.

She was very knowledgeable and pointed out to us the differences in cruises and cruise lines. This is something we very much appreciated. She pointed out that the AAA cruise was a very good price but said other also had good deals from time to time. She provided us with several booklets and other information on river cruises. She said that we could stop in anytime and she would be happy to answer our questions.

My wife and I took several days reviewing the material provided us by Ms. Pisani-Soltan. We had some questions and I sent Lorie an email asking her for more information. She got back to us quickly with answers.

My wife and I decided that the AAA European Cruise was truly the best value. We took another ride to the Hamden AAA office to see Ms. Pisani-Soltan. We walked in and did not see her. Thinking that she may be on a break we took a seat to wait for her. After perhaps five minutes of waiting a gentleman came us to us and asked if we needed some assistance. We told him were here to see Ms. Pisani-Soltan. He informed us that she was off but took us over to see Ms. Maria Torres a coworker of Ms. Pisani-Soltan.

We told Ms. Torres what had transpired with Ms. Pisani-Soltan and that we had some additional question. Ms. Torres made phone calls and got our questions answered made numerous notes. Ms. Torres said she was going to pass the information on to Ms. Pisani-Soltan and she was sure she would be contacting us upon her return.

True to Ms. Torres word Ms. Pisani-Soltan phoned us. She was not really on a day off but on a tour of the Queen Elizabeth making sure if was up to AAA standards. Something I found very encouraging. Actually going and doing an onsite visit allows a travel professional to obtain firsthand information that can be passed on to futures travelers.

My wife and I had several more questions about flights, accommodations and tours. Most of our questions were answered. We were told that a couple of our concerns could not be addressed for several weeks until airlines and others set prices and schedules. Ms. Pisani-Soltan assured us that as soon as the information was available she would be in touch with us.

So far our experience has been a most enjoyable one and we look forward to a successful trip next year thanks to Ms. Pisani-Soltan and the folks at AAA Hamden, CT.

I went to renew my driver's license, and I think that the entire process took about 12 minutes. Great service!!

I get all my notary public documents done at AAA. It's fast and part of the service. I just love going there.

AAA membership is worth its weight in gold. Within a 2 week period, I went to the office for a license renewal (fast, easy, and a world apart from DMV) and I also had needed emergency road service for a very dead battery- they brought a new one, installed it, and I was on my way.

I have never been disappointed in AAA. I always turn to them for my travel needs even if we do the planning ourselves.

Last week, I was on staycation, taking day trips in Connecticut, so I wanted the latest road maps of Connecticut cities and towns--both for my staycation and my frequent weekend outings. So I visited AAA, where, as always, I received fast, friendly service.

I went to renew my license on my lunch break and was completely satisfied! I don't think I will ever return to DMV for a license renewal. The people were super friendly and I even watched a customer service rep handle a disgruntled customer without disruption. She was truly amazing!

I went to AAA to renew my license. This process was much quicker than DMV. I was in/out with 30 minutes. Counter staff member could have been just a tad bit friendlier especially when I placed my debit card in her hand - she returned it by placing it on the counter. Total turnoff!!!!

We stopped in to get maps and travel guides and then saw a rack of camping and RVing books. Not being familiar with the various codes being used to describe the sites, we asked an agent who took the time to go through the book and explained what the codes meant. She asked us if there was anything else we needed and volunteered some flyers for places we said we were interested in. We bought the RVing book which was heavily discounted. The staff is most helpful.

I went to get license renewed and passport pix. Staff waa polite. Signage was a little confusing, though.

Went to AAA Hamden to book a vacation this summer to San Francisco. There was a bit of a wait because only one travel agent was on duty. However, once waited on we received superior service in finding the best flights and hotels. The travel counselor, Rebecca Craft, took all the time we needed to ensure we were happy with all aspects of our trip and even called the hotel to confirm certain amenities would be available. Job well done.

Over the years we've taken advantage of many of the services offered by this office and have always been very satisfied.

I use the AAA Trip Tik for every long trip. Even if I can get the directions other ways, seeing it on paper ahead of time is comforting. Plus the traffic notices is a huge help.

If you order one, remember to take the Tour Book as well. It make planning stops so easy!!
