Bear Path School is a part of the Hamden School District, which operates more than 10 educational institutions with a combined population of over 6,000 students. Located in Hamden, Conn., it has an annual enrollment of nearly 450 students in kindergarten through grade six. The school maintains a library and media center that provides resources and curriculum-related materials to promote reading and lifelong learning skills. Bear Path School also supports a parent-teacher association that provides support and assistance to the school by organizing various fundraising events and activities. It organizes a range of extracurricular activities, such as literacy nights, field days, student assemblies, open houses and luncheons.
