River Rising,Terrible! Not friendly, over rated, hard

pastries, dry, sometimes burnt, and

overpriced for what you get. Especially when you can't eat it.

Try other places like A taste of Paris,

cross from post office. Red Rooster on 93. Also, a good breakfast is BJ'S.

We have been regular customers at River Rising for the ok food and inexpensive prices. Today a very rude man claiming to be the husband of the owner insulted my wife and her friend for allowing our two children to walk around the coffee shop and 'bother other customers', claiming that 'this is not mcdonald's and implying that mcdonald's is where they should be. (note: the children are along almost every time their moms visit and there has never been a problem). He obviously thinks too highly of the very average river rising restaurant. The short story is that river rising lost two regular customers to the mood of a grumpy man who made claims to be speaking for the owner. we will never return nor spend our money at river rising. There are too many other coffee shops in town with better food and friendly Montana people. Spend your time and money at the loft or liaisons where you will be appreciated.
