When losing a wallet or misplacing an ATM card, it is an inconvenience NOT having a 24 hour,open call in telephone number to report this so the card can be blocked. In the meantime, usage of a card with the VISA logo can be used as a credit card and be charged against our checking accounts. Maybe an answering service for the bank would be helpful in preventing misfortune in the future.
